Description: Follow the steps below if you want to change the password for a POP email account.
Changing The Password Via Webmail – Password Known
- Open Web Browser
- Type in the URL: webmail.spro.net or webmail.domainname.com
- Type in the Username (Full Email Address)
- Type in the Password
- Click Login
NOTE: Webmail Lite is the preferred view setting.
- Click Email Settings in the lower left column
- Find the Change Password section of the page
- Type the Current Password in the current password field
- Type the New Password in the new password field
- Re-Type the New Password in the new password field
- Click the Update Password Button
NOTE: The password update may take 5 minutes to complete. This process cannot be accelerated.
Changing The Password Via Postmaster – Password Not Known
NOTE: Contact SolutionPro support or your IT administrator if you are not a Postmaster administrator.
- Open Web Browser
- Type in the URL: webmail.spro.net or webmail.domainname.com
- Type in the Username (

- Type in the Password
- Select Mail Settings from the view dropdown
NOTE: The Mail Settings view is required view to edit email accounts at the admin/postmaster level.
- Click Login
- Click Manage Mailboxes in the lower left column
- Browse the list of mailboxes and find the account you want to edit
- Click the Edit Mailbox Button
- Type the New Password in the new password field
- Re-Type the New Password in the new password field
- Click the Edit Mailbox Button
NOTE: The password update may take 5 minutes to complete. This process cannot be accelerated. |
