FAQ - POP Email Account Management

How Do I Add, Update, or Delete An Auto Reply / Vacation Reply?

Description: Follow the steps below if you want to add, update, or delete an auto reply / vacation reply for a POP email account.

Add, Update, Or Remove An Auto Reply Via Webmail – Password Known

  1. Open Web Browser
  2. Type in the URL: webmail.spro.net or webmail.domainname.com
  3. Type in the Username (Full Email Address)
  4. Type in the Password
  5. Click Login

    NOTE: Webmail Lite is the preferred view setting.

  6. Click Email Settings in the lower left column
  7. Find Vacation Message/Auto Responder section of the page
  8. Type the Subject in the Subject field
  9. Type the body of the message you want displayed  in the Vacation Message Text box
  10. Check the Enable Vacation Message if you want to use this feature

    NOTE:
    Once this feature is enabled it does not automatically disable after a certain time and date. It must manually be disabled via un-checking the enable vacation message checkbox.

  11. Click the Update Vacation Message Button

    NOTE:
    The auto reply message feature may take 5 minutes to complete. This process cannot be accelerated.

NOTE: This feature is currently not supported via the postmaster/admin account.
