FAQ - Hosted Exchange - New Accounts

Description: Follow this document to setup a Mac on the SolutionPro hosted exchange server (ix.spro.net) using Entourage 2004 or 2008.

NOTE:  Mac Mail does not support Microsoft Exchange, Entourage is the only known compatible exchange client for Mac OS’s.

1. Open Entourage
2. Click the Tools menu
3. Select Accounts
4. Click New from the new drop down menu
5. Click Exchange
6. Click on the Configure Account Manually button
7. Enter the following information:
    
   • Account Name: Exchange
   • Name: Your Name
   • Email Address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
   • Account ID: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
   • Domain:
   • Password: Your Password
   • Exchange Server: ix.spro.net
     
8. Click the Checkbox Save Password To KeyChain if it is not already checked
9. Click OK
   
   NOTE: Entourage will take a few minutes to synchronize your mail.
